Koi Neko v03 ch27

Mikadzuki-kun Daisuki~! XD

Well, that’s it for the third volume. Fortunately, KamenWriter is kindly scanning volumes 04-06. Though, my release rate for this series will slow down due to me experimenting with various ways to clean the pages. Hopefully I’ll figure out a way to clean them without having to resort to either over-leveling and restoring the weakened tones with the history brush, or having to use the dodge, burn, brush and polygonal lasso tool for every nook and cranny. This makes me wonder how the Japanese scanners cleaned the previous volumes. Although, the first two volumes did have quite a lot of dirt to clean if I remember correctly.

Koi Neko v03 Ch26
Wadatsumi v01 Ch04

KamenWriter scanned some of the upcoming Koi Neko chapters and sent them to me. So once I’m done with chapter 27, I’ll be working with KamenWriter’s scans. n_n

Koi Neko Ch27 (2/24 pages complete)

@Sandor: Yes, I already know about the magazine scanlation for Ichinensei’s 27th chapter if it’s the one that used the script that stix hosted at mangahelpers. Although, stix has shown disinterest in translating any of the further chapters. Also, I think stix is busy competing with a group called Wanchan or something over Kämpfer.

@dayrains: Gaiden wouldn’t be the right word for it since those three chapters are from Koi Neko’s original run in a magazine called Comic Mega Freak. Unfortunately, that magazine met a quick demise and all of the serials that ran in it were discontinued. So, Mashima Etsuya decided to redo the whole scenario when Koi Neko was restarted in Monthly Sunday GX. Actually, there’s a couple chapters where the ‘old’ Nao appears in a dream sequence. At first I thought the entire thing was just a joke. Though, the seventh volume seems to suggest that Nao has a sister from the same litter or something.

@commodorejohn: OK, I’ll see if I can find a copy of Ghost Busters the next time I visit a rental shop.

@Anon: I think someone suggested “Sekai no Hate de Aimashou” to stix. I forget if he was interested in it. I don’t really have much of an opinion on the manga at the moment, either. Although, I did preorder the 2nd volume that is due to be released on the 18th of December.
